Order FAQ's
I'm in James Bay.. How do I get my regular goodies??
You can order from our website! We are doing our initial website update on Monday by 12pm (noon) and will do an additional update Thursday at noon if we have extra items available that week. Just make sure to get your order in before Thursday at midnight and you will have your items waiting for you with either Marines or Celeste between 9-11am on Saturday morning right at your regular James Bay Market location! You can also pick up at the farm by appointment, or at the Duncan Farmer's market on saturday's from 10-2.
Is 'out of stock' really out of stock?
It depends. :) If you're shopping on Saturday or Sunday, we simply haven't updated the inventory for the following week. Please try again Monday late morning/early afternoon. If we've done our Monday stock update, it is a 'safe' count that we are sure can accommodate. We will be doing one more update on Thursday mornings for our final count that week. At that point if an item is showing 'sold out', we are at capacity for the week.
I'm in Nanaimo, how do I get my goodies?
Wednesdays we have a pick up spot in Nanaimo.
You can either pick up between 2:50-3:30 outside Flipside Gymnastics, or between 4:40-5:15 outside Shima Karate Dojo. Our farm and the pick ups are NOT associated with those businesses, we just happen to be there. Please respect them and don't enter their business unless you have someone attending classes there. :)
You can also pick up at the farm by appointment, or pick up at the Duncan Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 10-2.
I'm in Ladysmith, how do I get my goodies?
You can pick up at the farm by appointment, or at the Duncan Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 10-2.
Delivieries can be arranged on Friday afternoons. We are not commonly in town at this point in the season and will have to implement a small delivery fee. Thank you for understanding! :)
Can I pay cash or etransfer?
Absolutely! Cash can be accepted at pick up, and etransfers can be sent to mooseandbeanfarm@gmail.com
Please understand that we have a one-strike policy and any missed pickups will need to be prepaid in the future (we are reasonable humans, if an emergency happens we do understand).
